The site exists because the maintainer needed these tools and got tired of bouncing between five different calculators. New ideas in the same spirit are welcome — fast, browser-only, no signup, useful in actual day-job networking work.

Good fit: a tool you'd use in a terminal next to a switch (BGP community decoder, MTU calculator, OUI lookup database, SNMP OID reference, IPv6 EUI-64 builder, regex tester for log lines). Bug reports, especially ones with a copy-paste of the input that broke. Reference content gaps — "the IPv6 page should mention NAT64" or "the ports table is missing IPMI." Corrections to anything technically wrong.

Not a fit: custom builds, paid integrations, anything requiring a backend or login, full Wireshark replacements, network scanners that talk to the network from the browser. Tools that exist purely to drive ad impressions. Anything that would compromise the "runs locally, no data sent" promise.

Requests get reviewed by hand. Most useful suggestions ship within a few weeks; some sit in the backlog longer because they're harder to do right than to do badly. Either way, every request gets read — even ones that don't get built often shape the wording and edge cases of what does.
